Today was awesome. We had to be at the Georgia Dome for 7:30am (really early) because we were carrying the Canadian Flag in the opening ceremony. That was really exciting. They had really great people come and speak at the ceremony including former President George Bush who had alot to say but I really liked the he compared the World Festival to “WWF but for smart people”. After the opening ceremony we had our runs on the field tables. On our first run we scored 305. After that we went back to the pit area and tweeked a bit before our next run. Our second run had a few fluky things happen be we still had a good run and we really pulled together as a team. We tweeked some more (we are always “tweeking”). Our third run on the table was our best of the day, 360. When we got back to the pit everyone was jumping up and down and hugging each other. We were really happy with our results. After our runs were finished we packed up our pit and then we went to the Aquarium. Boy were we tired and were our feet sore! We got back to the hotel about 8:30pm and were too tired to move.
